Thanks Balkans!
But if we grant the Chancellor voting rights, then it is like we have 6 senators.

The Chancellor would be more of a moderator of the Senate. Controlling the flow of votes and which ones should be up.

I agree, Pxoria. The Chancellor should moderate the Senate.
But the Chancellor should have the right to place a vote on the floor of the Senate.

So the Chancellor is the head of the Senate and government. While maintaining the right to a sixth vote in the Senate. All Senators are for election and confirm justices, and executive personal. While Vice Justice advises the Senate.

So right now we are discussing the name of our legislature?

I still think that the Chancellor should not have the right to a sixth vote on the floor, that could diminish to power of the other 5. I think the chancellor should only be able to make and second motions issues that he/she feels necessary to vote on, and he should be the moderator of the whatever we decide to call it.

I think the legislature should be called the house of delegates.
I also think that the Chancellor should just be a moderator and not allowed to vote unless a senator has been absent for 5 days or so and their is a tie.

I like the Senate though. The Senate (of the US that is) is effectively a house of delegates.

I like Belvin's idea (both the name and the function)

I think it should be made clear that Senators can vote 4 ways on a piece of legislation: Aye-motion passes Nay-motion fails Abstain-vote is not counted Extend Voting Period-extends voting period by 7 days for further amending/debate

The Legislative Branch should consist of the Executive council. The Executive Council will be a term of one month to insure a fair and democratic government. The founder will be the head of state and the WA Delegate will be the head of government.
